A Look Around Home

Home has been very cozy lately. It is finally spring but there is still a slight chill in the air. I'm looking forward to April when the weather is warm and I can keep the windows open every day.

I pulled out one of my favorite thrifted crystal vases and bought some gorgeous tulips to decorate our dining room. Bringing spring indoors has brought an extra little dose of happiness to my day. I also have started my spring gardening. I planted a variety of tomatoes and different herbs. 

If I had to pick a favorite spot in our house, I would have to say the living room. It is so cozy and inviting. I love all of the layered, collected decor on our coffee table. I of course have to light a candle to set the mood. My favorite candles are the ones that smell of cinnamon, vanilla, and spice.

With the change of Daylight Savings time, my sleep schedule has been really thrown off. I have been trying to readjust so I am getting enough rest each night. The positive though is how long the sun stays up in the evening. That makes each day feel a bit longer and more productive. 

Home is my happy place and I do love it this time of year. I'll be working on some fun spring projects to share.
